“My outfit is very simple, if you go in India, we wear cultural dresses and outfits. This is the daily wear for me. I'm international student, so back in India, this used to be what I was always comfortable with wearing. Honestly my family's very traditional with festivals and other things. During festivals we wear more prominent versions of this specially. But this is something typically wear and my mom usually wears. She would used to buy these clothes for me. What I am wearing right now we call it chikankari kurta. This is a very significant style to Indian kurtis, we call them kurti. While it's not overly fancy or extravagant, I am very comfortable in it.” -Anushree
